The brief was to create a custom art collection that pays homage to the national mangroves reserves in the surrounding area using nature as inspiration.

The essential role of the mangroves and their natural protection of communities from storms and coastal erosion perfectly illustrate our interconnectedness with the earth. This collection is a statement on the perfect design of the natural world and our relationship to that world and how the aesthetics of science inspires art. Themes of erosion, pattern, time, ecology and environmental conservatorship are all ideas that are explored through rich textural pieces and earthy yet luxurious materials within this collection.
