CREATIVE VISION | A NEW HOSPITALITY BRAND
ARCHETYPE
Burrard Group had a new mixed-use development located in the Denny Triangle neighbourhood of Seattle and came to us to design their ground-floor retail. What started as an interior design scope also became a full brand development for the new hospitality business as well as creative visioning for the ground-floor retail businesses.
Three different hospitality concepts were conceived - a cafe, a grab-n-go quick-service restaurant and a lounge bar within the Nexus development. The overarching conceptual theme was a nostalgic nod to the elegance of travel, taking inspiration from historic trains, planes and automobiles.
Working with the GM and the executive team at Burrard Group, we also enlisted the owner and chef from Nemesis Coffee as food and beverage consultants to collaborate on the menus and programming. The outcome was three fully realized yet distinct concepts that reflected the overarching hotel brand - Archetype, with a mission to enrich urban life, daily.

More than a business, Archetype is a movement dedicated to supporting healthier cities through hospitality, wellness, placemaking, living spaces, cultural projects, and community service.
